Having graduated from Staffordshire University with a degree in glass design, Jo spent six months working for a glass company in Siena, Italy, creating and restoring original pieces of traditional stained glass in various places of worship. This gave Jo her unique style of work which she is known for today.
Her contemporary work comprises of a series of intricate details and patterns made up of fusing unusual materials at 800 degrees within the layers of 2mm and 4mm sheet glass. These include copper leaf and foil, steel wire and mesh, coloured enamels and interesting fragments of fine metal.
